Embracing Life

Recognize that life is what you get when you’re born … living is what you do with it.  When we own our lives, we accept what we’ve inherited and the experiences we hold in our memories. We also lay claim to our right to create new conditions if we’re not happy with what’s come before. We assume responsibility for changing what does not suit us. We acknowledge our own special talents and skills, and truly comprehend our right to enjoy the journey. In short, we embrace the meaning and purpose, the mystery and the beauty of our lives.

    Hi Kate
Thanks for your visit and your comments, glad you enjoyed the story! Yes I enjoyed our chat and will certainly do it again!
This blog is so true! So often we here people say my life would heve been so much better if………………… and they put the blame for not having the sort of life they would like on the actions of others who came before them such as Parents or politicians etc we have to take responsibility for our selves and make life the way we want it dispite the actions of those who came before us.  You may have noticed that I have mild dyslexia, and I always have used this as an excuse and that ‘I would have done better’ had it not been so.   I look at all the great people who have the same condition and see it now as a special gift – the ability to see things differently to other people (and my own special spelling language), so I embrace it and use it to my advantage
Here I go ratteling on again!
    Love Suki x
