Hey Chocoholic …this is for you

The good news for chocoholics is that chocolate is not only delicious, but good for you too. Apart from its minerals, vitamins, and flavonoids, dark chocolate possesses the highest antioxidant content of any food, the components together assist in boosting the good HDL cholesterol levels.

Green tea, black tea, red wine and blueberries also contain flavonoids, but none is as high as chocolate. So indulging in chocolate is not only good for the senses and soul but good for your health too!

Everything in moderation, of course.

Those aztecs have a lot to answer for ( er it was the aztecs wasn’t it? that first made the stuff, my history gets a bit mixed up sometimes )
I am a confimed chocoholic, the thing is though, can’t eat the dark stuff. So tend to go for the yummy milk choccy, which is so moreish.
It’s wonderful to hear that something that is so bad for us, is actually rather good too.

    Hi Peter,
May I suggest that you eat the chocolate,…. very quickly?
I noticed from the weather forecast that temperatures are high. I have to say excessive heat is not what I enjoy; we have days like that here in Cape Town too, which usually occur between September and March.
When it comes to chocolate I rather enjoy the Lindt Excellence Extra fine dark chocolate. 85% cocoa. Very, very, good.
Take care and have a good evening,
